We do encourage head canon, especially for characters with big gaps.

Because we want to leave her Battle Royale character open for those who would like to app her and because Kill Bill is set in a world similar to ours and doesn't have the dystopian feel of Battle Royale you couldn't combine them, but you can definitively take inspiration from her Battle Royal character to inspire Gogo's back story and fill in the blank spots.
