Bidding information.
The Hunger Games canon alludes to the process of bidding, which is a Capitol citizen buying the time of a Tribute or Mentor, usually against their will. The bidding, as a bought service, is generally kept a secret (though not necessarily a well-guarded one).
In the context of the Games, bidding is done for various reasons. Companionship, sexual favors, babysitting, covert activities, or really anything a citizen could think to do with a Tribute is permitted. This activity will be primarily handwaved, and as such we have up this post to both approve the activity, and create a place where you can lay out the information of what is going on with your bidding for others to access.
As a sensitive subject, we, as mods, want to remind everyone to approach bidding with the respect and sensitivity it deserves. Please do not impose this plot on anyone unexpectedly, and be sure to thoroughly warn for it. If a thread discusses bidding unexpectedly, please warn for it in the subject line of the tag. If you have any questions or concerns, such as feeling pressured to participate in this plot device or wondering about the limits of the mechanic, the mods are happy to talk it over.
Please be aware if you are NOT interested in playing bidding, you need not justify it or create an IC reason why your character is not involved. This plot device is, and always will be, 100% opt in.
Below, please find your District and post the form with your plot information. If you have not recieved mod contact about your plot within 48 hours, you can assume your plot is cleared and played with it.
If you are a Mentor, Stylist, or Escort we strongly recommend following your Districts thread, or checking in periodically to keep in touch with what is going on within your District OOCly. Please remember that ICly you may not be aware of events, and be sure to plot with the player.
