Welcome to the fight for Panem

Welcome to [community profile] thegames! The odds were in your favor! (Please read this page thoroughly as much of the information has changed.)

CAPITOL & DISTRICT 13 CITIZENS

If you have apped a Capitol citizen, you may jump into game play as soon as you like! You are free to wander the Capitol, and your character would have their own communication device. The same applies to District 13 characters wandering the District. If your character is a soldier for either side, you'll want to check out information on the battles.

OFFWORLDERS OUT OF BATTLE

Your character is pulled from their canon point, and wakes up on a hard, metal cot. They are then taken by peacekeepers to a cell in a place called the Offworlder Detainment Center and given a brief summary of what is going on: "They have been brought into Panem in the midst of a civil war to help as heroes in the war effort. All offworlders are being kept in the center for their safety and the safety of Panem's citizens until such a time they can be proven fit for Capitol society. Upon such a time, should one show their support for the Capitol, they will be given their own home and afforded the luxury of the city. It is down to them to defeat these criminals."

They are given a communicator which contains a map of the city, which will be taken from them before they enter the battlefields. Everyone without exception will have been given a tracking device, in case they thought they might be going anywhere.

SOLDIERS AT WAR

Should your character be a soldier, and a battle so happens to be going, they will be shipped out to the front and onto the line. It's nothing personal. It's just that the war waits for no one and each side believes that if they lose, everyone loses. And that includes you, whether you like it or not. It's a battle to the death, with the two sides hosting various advantages and disadvantages.

May the odds be ever in your favor.

You can find the OOC write up for the current battle in the District Roll tag and the IC battle post in the arena comm. They will be the first post.

ACTIVITY

As you probably know by now, we do AC a bit differently here.

AC is every few months, with check-ins closer in between, and all points are usable during that cycle in the war. If you join AFTER AC you get 200 credits to spend (since you could not earn credits in the last round.)

If you join BEFORE the AC you have two options:

a) if you rack up more than 200 credits before next AC, you can use them as your battle credits, as oppose to the default 200.

OR

b) you can use the default 200, and save up that activity for your first AC. It is the only time you can use pre-AC activity for credits.
